Kappl, Ischgl and Galtür have numerous trails available for cross-country skiers.
High-quality hire equipment is provided by Intersport Bründl next to the Diasbahn.
The free ski bus takes you conveniently to the Silvretta Arena Ischgl/Samnaun ski area, while the bus stop is at the Diasbahn, just a few minutes walk from the Astrada.
With 45 lift and cable car facilities and over 239 km very well-tended pistes, Ischgl is regarded as a paradise for skiers and snowboarders. The Arena links Ischgl with the Swiss duty free area of Samnaun.
The ski area in the neighbouring town of See is particularly good for families and those new to skiing, thanks to its easy, to at most moderately difficult, pistes and its expansive practice area for beginners. The highest ski area in the Paznaun, Silvapark, is located in Galtür, inspiring skiers, snowboarders and cross-country skiers with its high level of snow-assuredness from the start of December to the end of April.
